The Foundation's scholarship and funding programmes aim to promote sportsmanship, health, historical research, and art.

Health

The advancement of health and medical research falls within the Foundation’s goals. Thus, Greek Medical Schools, Pharmacy Schools, and other health-related schools, as well as students and researchers in these schools, are eligible for the Foundation’s scholarship and funding programmes. These programmes aspire to facilitate scientific development, encourage scientific discoveries, and ultimately improve health for all.

Sports

Physical education contributes to health. Graduates from Schools of Physical Education and Sport Science play a crucial role in youngsters’ physical education, both within and outside the school setting. Within this context, the “PGF” grants scholarships to students in sports schools (Physical Education Schools etc.) in order to highlight their significant contribution to promoting sportsmanship in professional and amateur sports.

Culture

The science of History is integral to understanding and cultivating a country’s culture. Through scholarships, the "PGF" supports research and various initiatives and events promoting the history of Greece and other countries. It also gives awards to new scientists, artists, writers, and athletes who are distinguished for their work and performance.
